20 of the Best SEO Plugins for WordPress

With more than 120 million blogs in existence, how do people find YOUR content on the Internet? The key starts with great search engine optimization (SEO), which is an art and a science that helps search engines discover your content and understand how relevant it is to specific search queries.
You can blog your heart out, but if you don’t have good SEO, then odds are you won’t have many readers.  Luckily, the WordPress () plugin community values SEO and has developed a number of plugins to help. Here are 20 of the best SEO plugins to help you choose the right tags, tell search robots what to work on, optimize your post titles and more.
Have another SEO plugin to recommend? Tell us more about it in the comments.

all-in-one-seo-pack-options
All in One SEO Pack – One of the most popular plugins ever for WordPress, this plugin does a bit of everything for you from helping choose the best post title and keywords, to helping you avoid duplicate content and more.
Automatic SEO Links – Automatic SEO Links allows you to choose a word or phrase for automatic linking, both internal and external, set anchor text, choose if it should be “nofollow” or not, and more.  One of the best features of this plugin is that it will only do this for the first occurrence of a word in a post so you don’t have to worry about spamming your post with numerous links to the same thing.
Google XML Sitemaps – An essential tool in any blogger’s armory of SEO tools.  While the name only mentions “Google (),” this plugin creates an XML-sitemap that can be read by Ask, MSN and Yahoo also.
HeadSpace2 – This plugin allows you to install all sorts of meta-data, add specific JavaScript and CSS to pages, suggests tags for your posts and a whole lot more.
Meta Robots WordPress plugin – An easy solution for adding robot metadata to any page you choose on your blog.  You can use it to make your front page links into “nofollows,” prevent indexing of search pages, disable author and date-based archives, prevent indexing of your login page and numerous other features.

nofollow
Nofollow Case by Case – This plugin allows you to strip the “nofollow” command from your comments, and then you can apply it to only the comments you don’t wish to support.
Platinum SEO Plugin – The Platinum SEO Plugin offers you such features as automatic 301 redirects for permalink changes, auto-generation of META tags, post slug optimization, help in avoiding duplicate content and a host of other features.
Redirection – For any number of reasons you sometimes need to move a page from one spot on your blog to another, but then you risk losing that page’s status in search results.  Redirection helps you with your 301 redirects, captures a log of 404s so you can work on correcting them, sets up an RSS feed for errors and more.
SEO Blogroll – Do you worry that the people you link to in your blogroll are feeding off of your PageRank?  With SEO Blogroll you can make separate sections for various groupings of links, with an unlimited number in each, and all of them will receive the “nofollow” attribute.
SEO for Paged Comments – With the introduction of paged comments in WordPress 2.7, there was a potential problem with search engines thinking you had duplicate content as the post would appear on each page.  This plugin aims to take care of this issue for you until the folks at WordPress change things up.
SEO friendly and HTML valid subheadings – Some themes for WordPress will confuse your sub-header tags based on the page they are to be displayed on, but this plugin will automatically reset them to make them more SEO friendly by moving them down one spot in the hierarchical tree.  In other words, h2 becomes h3, h3 becomes h4 and so on.
SEO Friendly Images – Images can be a great source of traffic as people search for images of various subjects, and this plugin helps you with making sure that you have “alt” and “title” tags on all of your images so that the search engines can properly index them.

seo no duplicate
SEO No Duplicate WordPress Plugin – If you must have duplicate content on your site for whatever reason, SEO No Duplicate will allow you to state which version of the post search engines should index while ignoring the others.
SEO Post Link – The post slug is the blog title you see in a browser’s URL bar, and if it’s too long, search engines won’t take a liking to it.  SEO Post Link comes with an already populated list of words to cut from a title when it turns into a URL to make your post addresses that much friendlier.  You can set it so that it’s limited to a certain number of characters, cut short words, cut unnecessary words and more.
SEO Smart Links – Interlinking your blog can be the key to getting more people to read more of your posts, but it is time consuming and tedious to do it by hand.  SEO Smart Links does this for you automatically when you tell it what words to link to what URLs, and it also allows you to set “nofollow” and “open in window” comands for the links.
SEO Tag Cloud WidgetLove () ‘em or hate ‘em, a lot of people use tag clouds on their blogs.  Since their inception they have been fairly unreadable by search engines, but with this plugin they will be converted to an SEO-friendly HTML markup that can be indexed.
SEO Title Tag – Your tags are an important part of your site for making sure that search engines know where to place your posts, and SEO Title Tag focuses exclusively on this.  Unlike some other plugins, and WordPress itself, this extension will allow you to add tags to your pages, your main page and even any URL anywhere on your site.

simple tags
Simple Tags – An extremely popular plugin that focuses on helping you choose the best tags for your posts by offering suggestions, auto-completion of tags as you type, an AJAX admin interface, mass tag editing and a whole lot more.
Sitemap Generator – This is a more customizable sitemap generator than most with options to support multi-level categories and pages, category/page exclusion, permalink support, choices on what to display, options to show number of comments and more.
TGFI.net SEO Wordpress Plugin – This particular plugin will do most of the usual SEO work of optimizing titles and keywords, but it adds a unique twist as it is mainly directed at people who use WordPress as a CMS.

E-mail asking for personal information

SpamSpam comes in a variety of forms, including fraudulent messages. This mass-messaging is called ‘spoofing’ or ‘password phishing.’
Such fraudulent practices involve messages that appear to be from a legitimate source, or the creation of an official-looking webpage that asks you to provide your username and password or other personal information. Such messages or pages could ask for your Social Security number, bank account number, PIN number, credit card number, mother’s maiden name, or birthday.
Spammers often ask for this information in an attempt to steal your Gmail account, your money, your credit, or your identity.
Google is currently testing a service designed to alert Gmail users to messages that appear to be phishing attacks. When the Gmail Team becomes aware of such an attack, the details of these messages are used to automatically identify future suspected phishing attacks.
The result: when a Gmail user opens a suspected phishing message, Gmail displays a warning.
Gmail’s phishing alerts operate automatically, much like spam filtering. Gmail’s spam filters automatically divert messages that are suspected of being unwanted messages into ‘Spam’. Similarly, Gmail’s phishing alerts automatically display warnings with messages that are suspected of being phishing attacks so that users know to take care before providing any personal information.
You should always be wary of any message that asks for your personal information, or messages that refer you to a webpage asking for personal information. If you receive this type of message, especially from a source claiming to be Google or Gmail, please do not provide the information requested.
Here’s what you can do to protect yourself and stop fraudsters:
◘ Make sure the URL domain on the given page is correct, and click on any images and links to verify that you are directed to proper pages within the site. For example, the Gmail URL is http://mail.google.com/ or, for even more security, https://mail.google.com/. Although some links may appear to contain ‘gmail.com,’ you may be redirected to another site after entering such addresses into your browser.
◘ Always look for the closed lock icon in the status bar at the bottom of your browser window whenever you enter any private information, including your password.
Check the message headers. The ‘From:’ field is easily manipulated to show a false sender name.
◘ If you’re still uncertain, contact the organization from which the message appears to be sent. Don’t use the reply address in the message, since it can be forged. Instead, visit the official website of the company in question, and find a different contact address.
◘ If you enter your account or personal information as the result of a spoof or phishing message, take action quickly. Send a copy of the message header and the entire text of the message to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov. If you entered credit card or bank account numbers, contact your financial institution. If you think you may be the victim of identity theft, contact your local police.
◘ Gmail\Yahoo\reiffmail doesn’t send unsolicited mass messages asking for passwords or personal information.

Worst Computer Viruses Of All Time!

Virus1 300x186 Worst Computer Viruses Of All Time!
Virus
1. Brain, 1986
It all started here: Brain was the first “real” virus ever discovered, back in 1986. Brain didn’t really hurt your PC, but it launched the malware industry with a bang and gave bad ideas to over 100,000 virus creators for the next 2 decades.
2. Michelangelo, 1991
The worst MS-DOS virus ever, Michelangelo attacked the boot sector of your hard drive and any floppy drive inserted into the computer, which caused the virus to spread rapidly. After spreading quietly for months, the virus “activated” on March 6, and promptly started destroying data on tens of thousands of computers.
3. Melissa, 1999
Technically a worm, Melissa (named after a stripper) collapsed entire email systems by causing computers to send mountains of messages to each other. The author of the virus was eventually caught and sentenced to 20 months in prison.
4. ILOVEYOU, 2000
This was notable for being one of the first viruses to trick users into opening a file, which in this case claimed to be a love letter sent to the recipient. In reality, the file was a VBS ****** that sent mountains of junk mail and deleted thousands of files. The results were terribly devastating- one estimate holds that 10 percent of all computers were affected, to a cost of $5.5 billion. It remains perhaps the worst worm of all time.
5. Code Red, 2001
An early “blended threat” attack, Code Red targeted Web servers instead of user machines, defacing websites and later launching denial-of-service attacks on a host of IP addresses, including those of the White House.
6. Nimda, 2001
Built on Code Red’s attack system of finding multiple avenues into machines (email, websites, network connections, and others), Nimda infected both Web servers and user machines. It found paths into computers so effectively that, 22 minutes after it was released, it became the Internet’s most widespread virus at the time.
7. Klez, 2001
An email virus, Klez pioneered spoofing the “From” field in email messages it sent, making it impossible to tell if Bill Gates did or did not really send you that information about getting free money.
8. Slammer, 2003
Another fast spreader, this worm infected about 75,000 systems in just 10 minutes, slowing the Internet to a crawl (much like Code Red) and shutting down thousands of websites.
9. MyDoom, 2004
Notable as the fastest-spreading email virus of all time, MyDoom infected computers so they would, in turn, send even more junk mail. In a strange twist, MyDoom was also used to attack the website of SCO Group, a very unpopular company that was suing other companies over its code being used in Linux distributions.
10.Storm, 2007
The worst recent virus, Storm spread via email spam with a fake attachment and ultimately infected up to 10 million computers, causing them to join its zombie botnet.. ……..

What is Forex?

What is Forex?
“Forex” stands for foreign exchange; it’s also known as FX. In a forex trade, you buy one currency while simultaneously selling another – that is, you’re exchanging the sold currency for the one you’re buying. The foreign exchange market is an over-the-counter market.
Currencies trade in pairs, like the Euro-US Dollar (EUR/USD) or US Dollar / Japanese Yen (USD/JPY). Unlike stocks or futures, there’s no centralized exchange for forex. All transactions happen via phone or electronic network.
Who trades currencies, and why?
Daily turnover in the world’s currencies comes from two sources:
Foreign trade (5%). Companies buy and sell products in foreign countries, plus convert profits from foreign sales into domestic currency.
Speculation for profit (95%).
Most traders focus on the biggest, most liquid currency pairs. “The Majors” include US Dollar, Japanese Yen, Euro, British Pound, Swiss Franc, Canadian Dollar and Australian Dollar. In fact, more than 85% of daily forex trading happens in the major currency pairs.
The world’s most traded market, trading 24 hours a day
With average daily turnover of US$3.2 trillion, forex is the most traded market in the world.
A true 24-hour market from Sunday 5 PM ET to Friday 5 PM ET, forex trading begins in Sydney, and moves around the globe as the business day begins, first to Tokyo, London, and New York.
Unlike other financial markets, investors can respond immediately to currency fluctuations, whenever they occur – day or night.

What is Twitter?

Twitter is a real-time information network powered by people all around the world that lets you share and discover what’s happening now

Twitter asks “what’s happening” and makes the answer spread across the globe to millions, immediately.

What Twitter Does
Whether it’s breaking news, a local traffic jam, a deal at your favorite shop or a funny pick-me-up from a friend, Twitter keeps you informed with what matters most to you today and helps you discover what might matter to you most tomorrow.
The timely bits of information that spread through Twitter can help you make better choices and decisions and, should you so desire, creates a platform for you to influence what’s being talked about around the world. Search results spread across Twitter and in other ways across the Web so you can discover what’s happening on and off of Twitter.com, wherever you prefer.
Twitter can give a voice to even the weakest signals because of its simplicity. Users can access Twitter on powerful broadband connections via a video game console or through faint connections in rural areas via SMS on a simple mobile phone. You can also access Twitter through more than 50,000 third-party Internet and mobile applications.
Just remember, how you use Twitter is completely up to you. Follow hundreds of people. Follow a dozen. Post every hour. Post never. Search for your favorite topics and create lists. Or not. You are in control on Twitter.
Twitter for Businesses
Twitter is a simple tool that helps connect businesses more meaningfully with the right audience at the right time.
Businesses and organizations of all shapes and sizes are now able to stay connected to their customers. It can be used to quickly share information with people interested in your company, gather real-time market intelligence and feedback, and build relationships with customers, partners and other people who care about your business. Customers can use Twitter to tell a company (or anyone else) that they’ve had a great—or disappointing—experience with your business, offer product ideas, and learn about great offers they’ve selected to be notified of.
For real world tips and case studies from businesses that have effectively used Twitter to build their brand and connect more personally with their customers, check out Twitter 101 for Businesses, our guide to doing business on Twitter.
Where’s Twitter?
Twitter may be based in San Francisco, but it’s used by folks in nearly every country in the world. So, we’re working quickly to add as many additional language options as we can.
Twitter now comes in French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish thanks to the help of translators around the world. Users can change their language preference in their settings.
Twitter is also forging deals with the biggest telecom operators in the world to allow users to send and receive Twitter messages over SMS and MMS at no additional cost. Here’s a list of all the countries that offer Twitter via SMS.
Twitter on Your Phone
We think that those who are out and about experiencing the world have a lot to share. That’s why mobile has been in our DNA right from the start: The 140 character limit originated so tweets could be sent as mobile text messages which have a limit of 160 characters. Minus 20 characters for author attribution, that gives users just enough room.

Evolution of messaging

Twitter is the evolution of mobile messaging, not replacing SMS, IM, or email but introducing a new public dimension to messaging.

Device integration

We are working closely with all of the major mobile phone manufacturers and platform providers to integrate Twitter throughout their devices. These partners believe that it makes their product more appealing if they include a pre-loaded Twitter application and give users the ability to tweet from the camera, maps, browser, media player and other contexts of the device.
The Twitter Ecosystem
As an aggressively open company, Twitter‘s success is dependent on the success of the developers in its ecosystem. Indeed, a majority of Twitter’s use comes through third-party applications that lets users tweet and read tweets wherever they choose.
In order to fulfill our goals as an information network, we work closely with developers and partners to help us create meaningful and varied experiences so that Twitter content could be created and consumed regardless of the mode or medium. From SMS to web apps to rich native applications on gaming consoles — users should be able to experience twitter in any form that works for them.
Fortunately, thousands of developers have taken advantage of Twitter’s open API to make more than 50,000 applications that run on all types of devices and Web services.
More can be found about our API here.
Twitter and the Community
At Twitter, we often think about what it means to build a company today and our role in making our community and the world a better place. We believe that the open exchange of information can have a positive global impact and will actively work to support this principal in everything that we do.
This is a lofty goal for a San Francisco start-up. But, interestingly, we’ve found that this open exchange also has the impact of making the world a smaller, more attainable place.
We have actively supported improving the world’s water supply (Charity Water and Water.org); we turned our site red to promote World AIDS Day in 2009 and have partnered with Room to Read to promote literacy around the world through an initiative we call Fledgling that involves good wine and books

8. To make Google search for smoke or fire, just type smoke OR fire
9. Instead of OR you can type the | symbol, like this: smoke | fire
10. Boolean connectors like AND and OR are case sensitive. They must be upper case.

POINTERS !!

POINTERS

Pointers can used with arithmetical relational, logical and assignment expression. these are not directly used with arithmetical relational, logical and assignment expression only these values are used.

POINTER DECLARATION
The declaration of a pointer variable takes the following form:
Data_type *pt_name;
The above statement tells the compiler three things about the variable pt_name.
  1. The asterisk(*) tells that the variable pt_name is a pointer variable.
  2. Pt_name needs a memory location.
  3. Pt_name points to a variable of type data type.

POINTER EXPRESSION
Like other variables, pointer variables can be used in expressions. Arithmetic and comparison operations can be performed on the pointers.

Pointer arithmetic:
C allow us to add integers from pointers as well as subtract one pointer from another.
Sum+=*p2

Addition of a number to a pointer
Int i=4,*j,*k;
J=&I;
J=j+1;
K=j+3;

Subtraction of a number from a pointer
Int i=4,*j,*k;
J=&I;
J=j-2;
J=j-5;
k=j-6;

POINTERS AND ARRAYS

When an array is declared, the compiler allocates a base address and sufficient amount of storage to contain all the elements of the array in contiguous memory locations.
The array declared as:
Static int x[5]={1,2,3,4,5};

Is store as follows:
Elements           x[0]    x[1]     x[2]     x[3]       x[4]
Values                1        2          3         4           5
Address           1000    1002   1004   1006   1008

DYNAMIC MEMORY ALLOCATION
C allocates desire amount of memory to variables and arrays defined in a program on the memory stack. In some cases the exact amount of memory is not known at the compile time and memory must be allocated only at runtime. runtime memory allocation is known as dynamic memory allocation.

POINTER AND FUNCTION
Pointers as function arguments occur with its address cell.
That is in this function is called by using address of variable. It is also called call by reference. In call by reference the address of actual arguments is passed to the function.
e.g. main()
{
Int x;
X=20;
Change (&x);
Printf(“%d”,x);
}
Change (p)
Int *p;
{
*p=*p+10;
}

POINTER TO POINTERS
Pointer is a variable that hold the address of another variable this concept can be further extended we can have a variable that hold an address of a variable that in tern holds an address variable. this type of variable will be known as pointer to pointer variable.
Example:-
Main()
{
Int i=10,*p;
Int **ptr;
p=&I;
ptr=&p;
Printf(“the value of I is %d”,*p);
Printf(“value of p is %u”,**ptr);
}
